With parents in the arts - a ballet dancer and an actor - there was never any question that I would end up on the stage! I started playing the piano at five, and ever since then I've made music and had a passion for performing.
I studied at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a First Class degree in singing and piano. My career as a professional musician now spans 30 years and I have worked as a singer, pianist, educationalist,
TV and radio broadcaster, workshop leader and choral conductor.
Apart from a busy solo and freelance career, for over 15 years I was a member of the BBC Singers performing with them all over the world ,
and broadcasting on both national radio and television. I have also led education programmes for all the BBC Performing Groups, The King's Singers, JAM on the Marsh and many other groups.
I now offer 1-1 lessons in singing, piano and music theory; public speaking coaching sessions, either individually or in a group; vocal problem troubleshooting; interview preparation and singing workshops for team building.
I am currently a member of the Royal Opera Chorus, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
